Ornately branded, internationally recognisable, internationally discarded. The cost of this chocolate is still the equivalent of about four loaves of bread, wherever you live. Growing up on South African Rands, and later especially travelling on a budget limited by forex rates, I used to think that was a lot, and washed and collected these gold and silver papers, because that was money I'd spent, never mind the carbon footprint of its production. #
